Reconnecting Moroccan Jewish Youth with Their Shared Heritage and Identity

Because young people are at the heart of Association Mimouna mission, a special meeting was held with students from the Associated Hebrew Schools in Toronto, where nearly a quarter of the students are of Moroccan origin. The discussion focused on Morocco’s long history of shared life between Muslims and Jews, the values of coexistence that shaped it, and the importance of strengthening young people’s connection to Morocco not as a distant homeland, but as an integral part of their identity.

Honoring a Longstanding Partnership Between Mimouna and the Moroccan Jewish Community of Toronto
