In partnership with SHIN DC (Sephardic Heritage International DC), which works to preserve Sephardic cultural heritage, and the National Museum of African Heritage, Association Mimouna hosted a Mimouna celebration attended by a group of Muslims and Jews. The event featured musical performances by Moroccan groups and the presentation of dishes reflecting Moroccan culture and its global cuisine.

Mimouna is a Moroccan association that strives to preserve and promote the history of Morocco’s ancient Jewish community. Founded in 2007, Mimouna seeks to educate the Moroccan people about the Jewish culture and encourage harmony between Jews and Muslims.
