The Association Mimouna proudly convened a conference on the Sephardic Jews of Latin America in general, and Moroccan Jews in Latin America in particular. The inaugural edition of the Sephardic Moroccan Jewish Latin American Forum gathered religious figures, community representatives, and historians from the US, Panama, Mexico, Colombia,Peru, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. Together, we delved into rich discussions about the past, present, and future of these vibrant communities, all withinthe warm and welcoming ambiance of Bayt Dakira. This deeply meaningful project was carried out under the esteemed Dakira initiative, reflecting our commitment to preserving and celebrating the diverse and interconnected heritage of Jewish communities around the world.
