The Association Mimouna proudlyconvened a conference on the Sephardic Jews of Latin America in general, andMoroccan Jews in Latin America in particular. The inaugural edition of theSephardic Moroccan Jewish Latin American Forum gathered religious figures,community representatives, and historians from the US, Panama, Mexico, Colombia,Peru, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. Together, we delved into rich discussionsabout the past, present, and future of these vibrant communities, all withinthe warm and welcoming ambiance of Bayt Dakira. This deeply meaningful projectwas carried out under the esteemed Dakira initiative, reflecting our commitmentto preserving and celebrating the diverse and interconnected heritage of Jewishcommunities around the world.
