As a way to commemorate his legacy, Association Mimouna decided to create an award in the name of Simon Levy, a Moroccan Jewish puissant activist, a conservator of the Jewish Moroccan history, and the godfather of Association Mimouna. The award was given to seven Jewish and Muslim public figures who work hardto preserve the Jewish memory. This year, Association Mimouna gave the award to the Tunisian Association for the Support of Minorities to recognize their outstanding workin defending the rights of Tunisian minorities in general and safeguarding the heritage of the Jewish Tunisian community in particular.
