In partnership with the prestigious American University “City College of New York”, Mimouna Association granted full scholarships that included round-trip flight tickets to New York, accommodation, monthly allowance, health insurance, textbooks and tuition fees for four students from Al Akhawayn University for the 2016 semester. The aim of this Scholarship is to offer the students from all socio-economic backgrounds the opportunity to study multiple aspects of the Jewish spectrum in a stimulating academic context in New York.

Mimouna is a Moroccan association that strives to preserve and promote the history of Morocco’s ancient Jewish community. Founded in 2007, Mimouna seeks to educate the Moroccan people about the Jewish culture and encourage harmony between Jews and Muslims.
