Association Mimouna is co-sponsoring the 2020 Balkans Forum Against Anti-Semitism. The Parliament of Albania, in partnership with the Combat Anti-Semitism Movement, will host the first-ever Balkans Forum to combat Anti-Semitism Albania was one of the only countries in Europe to shelter Jews during the Holocaust era. To this day, Albania prioritizes positive interfaith relations and dialogue between its Jewish minority and the Muslim-majority population. In the spirit of Albania’s historic friendship with the Jewish people, the 2020 Balkans Forum Against Anti-Semitism will serve as a model to the region in the fight against the world’s oldest hatred.
Dignitaries including heads of state, ministers, envoys for anti-Semitism from the Balkans, the broader European region, and the United States will address participants.
