Master Students Explore Jewish Heritage in Essaouira

After their field training in Tangier, the students of the Jewish Moroccan tourism master program have had another-in-field training to learn about the history of Essaouira and its most important Jewish sites. The students learnt about the rich Moroccan Jewish heritage of the city of trade winds through lectures given by Moroccan and international experts who have done a lot to preserve and promote Morocco’s Jewish heritage, one of the major objectives of the Dakira project which is funded by USAID and implemented by Association Mimouna.
