Maimonides Golden Way

Maimonides Golden Way

In partnership with the Jewish community of Cairo and the Jewish community of Fez, Association Mimouna organized the first edition of the Maimonides Golden Way in Fez. The objective of this event was to commemorate the legacy of Moshe ben Maimoun, philosopher, jurist and medical writer, who is recognized as one of the greatest and most influential Jewish authors of all time. Experts in the field discussed the philosophy and the approach of Maimonides and his contribution in the Jewish, Christian and Islamic thoughts. To recognize her work,  Association Mimouna gave the Simon Levy Award to Magda Haroun, the president of the Jewish community of Cairo.
