The Mimouna Association organized an Interreligious Iftar on March 31 to celebrate the opening of its "Spiritual Marrakech" exhibition. This photo exhibition highlights Muslim, Christian and Jewish places of worship in the red city.
The Iftar, attended by guests from the three monotheistic religions, was also an opportunity to pay tribute to the emblematic figures of Moroccan Judaism, notably Mr Simon Levy, Dr Armand Guigui, Misters Albert and Elie Devico, and Rabbi Abraham Sebagh. The tribute was not just a remembrance or a celebration, but also an opportunity to award five scholarships in the name of the latest, to enable this brilliant young generation to learn more about their history and, through this initiative, to receive financial help regarding their studies.
