On January 29th, 2023, Mimouna Association, the United Nations Information Center, and the Jewish Moroccan community of Casablanca joined hands to organize the International Holocaust Remembrance Dayat Beth El Synagogue in Casablanca. The event aimed to honor the memory of Holocaust victims and specifically recognize Sultan Mohammed V's pivotal rolein safeguarding the Moroccan Jewish community during that historical period.
