Mimouna Association and the AAMJM jointly organized on December 14, 2016 a study day on a project of short videos and a tribute to late Simon Levy. The afternoon of 14 December was devoted to a presentation and a study of the joint project of the two associations on the theme: how to transfer the Judeo-Moroccan cultural heritage to the younger generations. The way chosen by the two associations is a series of short videos diffused on the Internet and on the social networks. These videos, presented by Moroccan Jews and Muslim youtube influencers, will highlight various topics like music, clothing, cooking, and architecture, and will endeavor to explain the contribution of Moroccan Jews to the Moroccan identity. The evening of Wednesday, December 14 at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco was dedicated to a tribute to Simon Levy with the presentation of a film on Simon Levy produced especially for the event by the Moroccan film director Younes Laghrari.
