In order to address the demands of tour guides and hotel workers who wished to learn the language and learn about the Jewish cultural legacy of Morocco in order to communicate with Hebrew-speaking tourists, Hebrew classes were launched in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism to aid in their integration into the tourism industry, Mimouna Association provided these young people in various Mellahs of Morocco with Hebrew classes and lessons on Moroccan Jewish culture.

Mimouna is a Moroccan association that strives to preserve and promote the history of Morocco’s ancient Jewish community. Founded in 2007, Mimouna seeks to educate the Moroccan people about the Jewish culture and encourage harmony between Jews and Muslims.
