In partnership with the Jewish Community of Fez, ROH organized the 1 stcooking workshop in Fez. As a way to preserve the rich Jewish Moroccan culinary art, we organized a food workshop inside the Jewish cultural center in Fez. The event was for the benefit of a group of Muslim women who live in the Mellah of Fez. The women learnt how to make Shabbat salads, and a traditional Moroccan Jewish recipe, aswell as traditional sweets.
Every event we organize, every food basket we deliver, and every dialogue circle we lead is made possible by engaged allies. From student volunteers to global donors, a vibrant community stands behind Mimouna’s mission.

Mimouna is a Moroccan association that strives to preserve and promote the history of Morocco’s ancient Jewish community. Founded in 2007, Mimouna seeks to educate the Moroccan people about the Jewish culture and encourage harmony between Jews and Muslims.
