Moroccan Jewish Food Festival in Tangier
Association Mimouna, in partnership with Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism and ISITT, organized the first edition of the Moroccan Jewish Food Festival in Tangier. The event highlighted the rich flavors of Moroccan Jewish cuisine and explored the connections between Jewish and Muslim dietary traditions. Participants included the head of the Kashrut committee of Casablanca, tourism and hospitality experts, and members of the Jewish Moroccan community. Held under the USAID-funded Dakira initiative, the festival aimed to celebrate and safeguard Jewish Moroccan cultural heritage and culinary traditions.
