In partnership with the American Sephardi Federation, Essaouira Mogador, and Zaouiya Kadiriya of Essaouira, Association Mimouna organized a Mimouna celebration in the streets of the old city of Essaouira. This activity was under the banner of the Rebuilding Our Homes project, a USAID-funded initiative that is implemented by Association Mimouna and the American Sephardi Federation.

Mimouna is a Moroccan association that strives to preserve and promote the history of Morocco’s ancient Jewish community. Founded in 2007, Mimouna seeks to educate the Moroccan people about the Jewish culture and encourage harmony between Jews and Muslims.
