AJC-Mimouna Fellowship Promotes Dialogue and Education
The AJC-Mimouna Michael Sachs Emerging Leaders Fellowship is a program named after the late Michael Sachs, an AJC leader who dedicated his life to promoting Judeo-Muslim dialogue. This initiative aims at promoting inter-religious dialogue and the building of bridges between cultures. In Rabat, the Moroccan, American and Israeli participants had an interesting meeting with Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education and , preschool and sports Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid and Mr. Ahmed Abbadi, to discuss the role of education in national development.
The discussion also focused on the role of youth, the importance of interreligious dialogue, and the contribution of education in promoting regional cooperation. Participants visited UM6P in Rabat to explore the role of education in fostering social and cultural development.
