We were deeply honored to welcome two of the godfathers of Association Mimouna, Peter Geffen and André Azoulay, into our office, in the presence of adelegation of American teachers. Their presence was more than symbolic; it wasa reminder of the roots, vision, and courage that gave birth to our mission.Having them with us, guiding, listening, and inspiring across generations andcontinents, felt like a full-circle moment, where memory met action, and legacymet future.

Mimouna is a Moroccan association that strives to preserve and promote the history of Morocco’s ancient Jewish community. Founded in 2007, Mimouna seeks to educate the Moroccan people about the Jewish culture and encourage harmony between Jews and Muslims.
