Association Mimouna was honored to host a meeting with Ms. Bea TenTusscher, Special Envoy for Religion and Belief at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with several representatives and diplomats from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Rabat. The discussion focused on interfaith dialogue, cultural heritage, and the promotionof mutual understanding. We were also joined by Mr. Henri Abikzer, whose long-standing involvement and quiet leadership within the Jewish community of Rabat added thoughtful depth to the conversation, and by Igal Fedida, a Moroccan Jewish artist whose work embodies the richness of Moroccan identityand pluralism. Through his art, Igal brings memory, emotion, and human connection to life, demonstrating how creativity can be a powerful vehicle fordialogue and cultural reflection.
This gathering reflects Mimouna’s ongoing commitment to preserving memory,promoting diversity, and linking the past to the present in service of abrighter, shared future.
